The Two Terminals
DPS has two passenger terminals side by side, roughly ten minutes apart on foot. The International terminal handles every foreign arrival and departure, with arrivals on the lower level and departures above. Duty free, the food court and the lounges are airside.

1. The All Indonesia arrival declaration
From 1 September 2025, every traveller entering Indonesia through major gateways must complete one digital declaration covering immigration, customs, health and quarantine. 2. Your visa
Most visitors use the Visa on Arrival, currently IDR 500,000 for 30 days and extendable once. Buy it at the counter or apply online in advance for the e-VOA. The price is identical. 3. The tourism levy
Every international visitor pays IDR 150,000 per person per visit, separate from the visa, as set out on the Bali Provincial Government’s Love Bali portal. Pay online and save the voucher. Only the .go.id domain is official, and lookalike sites charge two or three times the real amount.
The step most people miss
To use the biometric autogates rather than a manual counter, you generally need to pre-register your passport online through the official immigration system before travelling. Travellers routinely arrive expecting to walk up and find they cannot. It takes minutes at home and is the single biggest time saver on arrival.

ATMs sit in and outside arrivals. Withdraw a modest amount and change larger sums at authorised money changers in Kuta or Seminyak, where rates are better. Telkomsel, XL and Indosat counters sell tourist SIMs at a premium over town prices, so an eSIM bought before you fly is usually cheaper and means you land connected. Baggage storage is available, useful if you have a late flight and want a final beach day.
Exiting customs puts you into a covered walkway lined with name boards, where pre-booked drivers wait. It is also where the touts operate. Walk with purpose and ignore anyone calling out “taxi, transport, cheap”.
